To create a non-elitist and democratic organisation for the benefit of all it's members, to work and represent the needs of those members, and where possible, to offer a support mechanism where no member feels isolated from the association family, and where possible, we return something to our community. 
That those who volunteer for positions of responsibility within the association do so on the understanding that it is the members they represent and not their own advancement at the cost of those members
